Tuition and Campus Fees
The cost of attending California State University, Fullerton consists of paying the state fees (also known as resident tuition fees) in addition to university campus-based fees. The drop-down menus below display the fees of various programs offered by CSUF. Non-resident tuition may also apply to out-of-state students as well as international students.
If courses are dropped, students may be responsible for retained charges of prorated fees based on the number of days enrolled in the school term. For more information, please visit the table of prorated fees and refunds on the Refunds page.

Tuition Fees are not calculated on a per-unit basis. Enrollment and tuition costs are defined by either Part-Time (0-6 units) or Full-Time (7+ units).
If you are not a resident of California, you must add $396.00 ($420.00 beginning Fall 2024) for each unit enrolled to your registration and tuition fees. The non-resident tuition fee schedule table below reflects non-resident tuition fees for up to 12 units.

The Professional Program Fee is paid on a per unit basis in addition to the registration and tuition fees for the following current graduate business programs:

Student Involvement and Representation Fee (SIRF)
The optional $2.00 SIRF is not included in the total Campus-Based Fees for fall and spring semesters. It is not considered a mandatory campus fee and students can opt-out of the SIRF on their student portal.

The cost of attending a CSU campus can vary from year to year. All students pay the basic systemwide tuition based on student level: undergraduate, credential, graduate or doctoral. In addition, non-resident students pay a per-unit fee, and students enrolled in some graduate business programs have a per-unit fee. These base costs do not include campus mandatory fees
or other expenses like housing.
